Railway - Ladies Special

It was the day before DASRA and Mumbai local-train commuters celebrated it in a unique fashion, as is the tradition. I forgot about the traditional day in my office and was dressed normally.

As usual, I got late and missed my 7.54 slow train. I had to wait for 15 more minutes for another slow train to arrive. Meanwhile I was enjoying the decorations commuter groups had made on the inner as well as the outer side of the boggies. Public seemed to be in total celebration mood. Waiting on the FOBridge I starred at the platforms. They were flooded with the males in salvar-kameez and females dressed in beautiful sarees. One should appreciate the power of saree because a normal looking girl too looked pretty good in that attire.

The train that arrived before mine was a Ladies-Special slow local. Now I could see some more voluptuous and gorgeous young ladies, till now hidden in the masses, coming forth. This picture could really please ones senses. The train was just to depart when a young lad boarded one of the boggies, no wonder he had every right to board that Ladies-Special train for he was a hair-band, hair-pin and nail-polish wala boy.

I felt vey jealous at that site for he was the only male enjoying company of those surprisingly simple beauties. If anybody would have asked me as to who celebrated the day the most, I would have promptly replied - the hair-band wala boy.

Henceforth I would take every care that on the festival days I miss my regular train and experience these pleasing moments.
